Achievements and more robust runtime
❄️ Winter and achievements
The winter theme is active since Dezember and I improved the contrast between the snowy background and game elements. In addition, it was time to iterate on the motivating factor.
New Feature - ⭐️ Achievements
Achievements are a motivating factor in games, especially chasing the last few achievements left is a motivation which pushes players to do the extra effort to really finish a game.
The first achievements are basic counts with a few based on your work schedule.
I will iterate on the feeling of an unlocked achievement, right now you will find a small notification at the right border of the screen.
Also, a list of all achievements will be added in the future.
New Feature - 🔥 Streak
Another motivating factor are streaks; consecutive days with finished Pomodoros. The fire pit will light up, if you are on a streak. A streak survives up to two days without a pomodoro (like a weekend).

- Setting sound volume now ‘pre-views’ the volume
- The timer colour is adjusted during winter and night-time
- Settings got more descriptive names
- Improve save and load robustness (in case of a corrupted save game, a backup will be used)
- Window size and position will not reset if window control is disabled
